Here's What's Happening...
English/Language Arts: Students are enjoying their work on the newscast project and they are doing a great job of collaborating together! They will wrap this project up early next week. We will then shift to reviewing text structures and Word Work List 7 skills. There will be graded assignments for both of these skills towards the end of the week!
Social Studies: On Monday, students will be able to view all the products available for trade in our trade fair, as well as watch each student's commercial for their product. This will help them think about what items they will want to attempt to "trade" for. We will hold our Virtual Trade Fair on Tuesday, and then students will complete a reflection activity.
Advanced Math: Our focus this week will shift to dividing fractions and mixed numbers, as well as applying their division skills to problem solving situations. We will also review the skill of solving multiplication equations through the use of both dividing, as well as multiplying by the reciprocal. There will be a Homework Review on Lessons 4-5 on Friday!

End of Second Trimester!
Believe it or not, the end of the second trimester is Friday, February 26th. How is it already the end of the second trimester!? We must be having fun, because time sure is flying! You should have received an email this week regarding making your selection of in-person learning or remote learning for the third trimester. Please be sure to complete this survey by Sunday!
