English/Language Arts: This week, students peer edit their Manifest Destiny Argument Essays and give feedback on whether they were convinced by the points that their partner raised. We will also review Word Work Lessons 6-10 by doing a Scattergories game and a Jeopardy game.
Social Studies: We will wrap up Ch. 9, L.3 by finishing our notes, and then will do a quick overview of how our Constitution was written and our original government formed. Students will also have the opportunity to complete an activity called "Autobiography of a Time Traveler."
Advanced Math: We will learn about how to use ratios to work on converting measurements. Students will also work on a project where they will have the opportunity to plan summer activities, but need to stay within a certain budget!
