Here's What's Happening...
English/Language Arts: We will work on our next text, "The Miracle of Spring." In this text, we will continue to focus on the skill of visualizing and learn about elements of drama.
Social Studies: We will review Roanoke and the Battle of the Spanish Armada. Then we will learn about Jamestown and what made it successful.
Advanced Math: We will get started on the last part of Unit 3, which focuses on percentages. In this section, students will make connections between percentages, ratios, and rates. Then they will use their ratio reasoning to determine unknown parts, wholes, and percentages.
